There are so many activities to fill your days in and around Savannah and Tybee Island, and sometimes it's hard for troops to decide what to do. Since every troop is unique, each itinerary that we write will be different for each group. The following is a list of very popular activities for Girl Scouts of all ages that we can incorporate on any itinerary: Carriage Tour - Enjoy an hour long, old-fashioned horse-drawn carraige ride around town. Your tour will focus on the history of the settling of the Georgia colony, or you may prefer an evening ghost tour of the district. Walking Ghost Tour - "Scouting for Spirits" is our company's own unique tour, where the girls and adults will enjoy hearing of the haunted history of the city, along with your tour guide's personal ghostly experiences. This will be a private tour, strictly for your group, and we always take into consideration to age of the girls. This tour will include a complimentary patch for all scouts. Dolphin Tour - Pods of dolphin are a very familiar site on the Savannah River, and throughout the adjacent island rivers and creeks. Troops visiting from any land-locked area are sure to have a great time on one of our local dolphin -watching boats. Girl Scout Militia - Old Fort Jackson is one of the oldest forts in Georgia, located only 3 miles from the historic district. Their costumed Civil War interpreters provide a wonderfully fun interactive program, featuring an hour long living history presentation, and concluding with a cannon-firing exercise. House Museum Tours - Touring Savannah's historic district is like taking a walk through the 1800's. Many of the historic homes have been renovated and antique collections have been Tybee Lighthouse and Marine Science Center - Savannah is located 15 minutes from one of the most beautiful Atlantic Coast beaches in the southern U.S. The

historic Tybee Lighthouse is located on the north end of Tybee Island, and features a museum, the renovated buildings from the 1800's, and the tallest tower in Georgia. The Tybee Marine Science Center, located at the south end of the island, provides patch programs for the different Girl Scout levels. We also invite troops to spend a free afternoon on the public beach located near at the Tybee Pier, where certified city lifeguards are stationed throughout the summer months.
